1860’s Stone Cottage FIlm Location

1860’s Stone Cottage

Bundeena, NSW, 2230

This flawless sandstone cottage in the heart of the Royal National Park (just south of Sydney) was built around 1863. The cottage sits on beautiful gardens overlooking the ocean, with the home restored to its original condition (with the exception of the modern appliances and rear extension). A beautiful verandah adds a classic touch to the facade, original lattice decorating the awning maintaining the cottage charm.

A modern bathroom with a freestanding oval bathtub and high ceilings, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Neutral decor throughout the home with rustic furnishings. An original fireplace decorates the lounge room, while the kitchen has been fitted with modern benchtops and appliances. A beautiful outdoor gazebo has been converted into a well-lit, outdoor dining room with floor to ceiling all-glass sidelight doors, opening out to the views down the sloped grass to the beach.

There is also a separate studio which is ideal for hair, makeup and wardrobe. This area is currently set as a lounge room.
